Materials:

• Salt
• Red + blue paint powder to make green
• Blue + red paint powder to make purple
• Red + yellow paint powder to make orange

Instructions:

• In two bowls pour a pack of salt into each.
• Show the children the children the white salt.
• Place one colour paint powder in the one container for example red
• Place another colour paint powder in the other one for example blue.
• Mix the paint powders so that the white salt disappears.
• Show the children the two different colours that were created. For example red and blue
• Mix the two colours together and see how purple is made.
