Draw simple geometric designs, or simple human and animal figures on a piece of brown construction paper.
Crumple up the construction paper to create a soft, wrinkled texture.
Cut the paper into the largest possible circle. Cut an upside-down "U" shape along one edge for the door of the tee-pee.
Bind four, straight, small sticks together and tie them together with dental floss 1/2 inch from the top.
Arrange the four legs of the sticks so they face out, creating a base for the tee-pee.
Drape the circle of construction paper around the stick base, allowing the top bunch of sticks to poke out.
Tape along the inside where the sticks meet the paper to hold it in place.
Cut off any excess parts of the stick that extend beyond the bottom of the construction paper so the paper rests
on the ground without stick "legs."
