Materials:

  • Large piece of paper
  • String or Yarn
  • Cellophane Tape
  • Crayons, Markers, or Paint
  • Scissors
  • Hole Puncher

Instructions:

  • To make a paper apron, start out by cutting an apron shape out of a a large piece of paper.
  • Make it big enough for the lower part to wrap around your waist at least 2/3rds of the way.
  • The top section should just cover your chest.
  • For the string to go around the neck draw small dots on the corners of the top part of apron.
  • Before punching holes reinforce the area by putting a piece of tape over the dots that have been drawn.
  • Make sure to put tape on both sides - the back and front.
  • Use a hole puncher to punch a hole where each dot is.
  • Repeat the process for the string to go around the waist
  • Then cut four pieces of string that are long enough to tie around your neck and around your waist.
  • Tie one end of each piece of string to each of the holes you punched.
  • Personalize your apron using crayons, markers or paint and then wear it with pride!
