Ten Plagues
Educating CHildren|Preschool|Art|pesach|Ten Plagues

Materials:

  • wooden craft dowels
  • colored paper
  • recycled cereal box cardboard
  • orange plastic plates (for the lion)
  • long bumpy piper cleaners for the lice legs, frog's tongue and to attach blood drops
  • a black permanent marker for all the details
  • a hole punch (for the blood drops)
  • double stick tape, to stick it all together!

Instructions:

  • Each of these placards are double sided with the dowel hidden between the two layers.
  • All the pieces were attached using double stick tape.
  • The blood drop was made by painting cereal box cardboard with a sponge, great for little ones.
  • The frog is fun to make since you use tracings of your hands for the frog legs, and for the louse we actually looked at a photograph of a real louse, and remember to attach the legs before attaching the second layer. The lion is cute made from plates, but of course you could simply use a circle of cardboard and paint it orange, and how about adding some yarn for the mane?
